Feed Mill Operator / Maintenance

Job Duties:

Routine cleaning/maintenance duties and repair/upgrade requirements at the feedmill with assistance from feed crew, ethanol plant maintenance team and external contractors as needed.

Maintain communication with Purchaser regarding parts & supplies, work orders and their completion.

Assist with weighing, unloading and tracking deliveries to the feedmill as required.

Cover management of the Feedmill when Feedmill Manager is away, including rolling grain, co-ordination of feed bunk readings, operation of feed program.

Skills/Experience:

Some experience related to equipment maintenance preferred

Ability to work as part of a team including a minimum of 1-2 years supervisory experience

Experience with computers (Microsoft programs)

Strong time management and attention to detail

Willingness to learn
